With a career spanning construction technology, lean execution, enterprise business growth, and product strategy, Kalyan Vaidyanathan joins Vavetek AI as Principal Advisor. He brings a powerful blend of construction-tech leadership and proven go-to-market execution, backed by experience scaling technology-led businesses across the AEC ecosystem.
In his role at Vavetek AI, Kalyan works closely with the leadership team to shape strategic direction across our core and upcoming verticals. He provides advisory input across BIM/MEP Coordination and Structural Engineering, and supports expansion into planned domains such as Air Conditioning Engineering and Facade Engineering—ensuring our AI copilots are aligned with practical delivery realities and market needs.
Kalyan currently serves as CTO – Construction at Tvasta, where he leads construction initiatives across design, engineering, and execution, while also driving R&D and technology innovation and supporting international expansion across Tvasta’s products and projects.
Previously, he served as Director – Business Development at Bentley Systems (2021–2025), leading pan-India growth for Bentley’s construction solutions. In this role, he owned revenue targets, managed end-to-end sales cycles, and built and led account teams across sectors—bringing deep exposure to how large construction organizations adopt and scale digital workflows.
Earlier, Kalyan was the Co-Founder & CEO of Nadhi Information Technologies (2009–2021), where he led corporate strategy, solution vision, and business growth. In parallel, he delivered hands-on impact as a Lean Construction Consultant, implementing lean processes at project sites and completing 20+ engagements with leading owners and EPC contractors across India.
Kalyan holds an M.S. in Structural Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras. His combination of domain depth and commercialization experience adds strong momentum to our mission of building AI copilots that are not only innovative, but also adoption-ready and business-scalable.
